The Good
Stuff Café
A small, uninspiring space, reimagined as a modern, functional and inviting café, in 35 days.
Every element of the café is a careful blend of function, beauty and comfort. Here is how a compact shell became a room people come back to.
Before and after. Drag to compare.

A double-height entrance
The space had no height to speak of at the door. We opened the entrance to a double-height ceiling, so every visitor’s first step in feels generous, airy and worth remembering.
Making the most of every inch
The footprint was compact, so nothing could be decorative only. Beneath the staircase we built a curated merchandise display, and every seat and fixture was planned for comfort and service flow.
- Under-stair display for merchandise
- A smart layout that seats sixteen without crowding
Indoors meets outdoors
A new door to the outdoor seating makes service easy and joins the café to the street, so guests get the best of both.
Seating for every mood
Bar seating on the ground floor keeps the room lively. Up on the mezzanine, individual seats make a quieter corner for focused work or a slow coffee.
- Ground floor: bar-style, social seating
- Mezzanine: individual, intimate seating
Light that does the work
Glass facades pour daylight into the café, so it feels bright and connected to its surroundings at any hour.
Great design isn’t just
what you see. It’s
what you feel.
